What ACS does

ASIC repair

Component-level repair of hashboards, control boards, and power supplies, from a single unit to full fleets. Every repair is documented per board: the fault found, the repair performed, and the test results.

Consolidation

Working parts from multiple damaged miners are combined into fully functional units. Inventory that would have sold as parts goes back to work as machines.

Inspection and refurbishment

Photo-backed condition reports for every unit, built on the same diagnostic tools the repair line uses. Refurbishment then restores working units with deep cleaning, new thermal paste, fan replacement, and a 24-hour burn-in at target hashrate.

Field services

On-site crews for deployment, decommissioning, diagnostics, and overflow work at mining sites. Problems get worked where the miners run.

Logistics and warehousing

Shipping, receiving, and asset movement to and from ACS, plus secure storage and inventory management at any scale. Stored units move straight into repair, refurbishment, or resale without another shipment.

Immersion prep and conversion

Air-cooled miners converted for immersion cooling, and immersion-cooled miners converted back to air for resale or redeployment. Each conversion is verified with performance testing.

Consignment resale

Inspected and refurbished hardware is listed on the ACS marketplace with its condition report. Sellers recover value from retired fleets, and buyers get hardware with verified condition.

Mining-to-AI Conversion Services

Our story

The team behind ACS

James Scaggs founded ACS in March 2021 to repair Bitcoin mining hardware. The company started with 3 people in a 2,000 sq ft workshop.

It now runs a 100,000 sq ft facility in Carrollton, Texas, with repair, field services, logistics, warehousing, and consignment under one roof.

James founded ACS in March 2021 and built it from a three-person repair workshop into a 100,000 sq ft operation in Carrollton. As CEO, he leads the company’s move from ASIC repair into end-to-end asset lifecycle management, including Mining-to-AI Conversion Services.

Will Middleton

Co-Founder

Will co-founded ACS in 2021. He has run Bitcoin mining operations since 2018, first at Block Formation and now as managing member of Blockchain Tek, a hosting operation in Alabama, and brings that operator’s view to how ACS repairs and services fleets.

Eric has been ACS’s senior software engineer since 2023 and is a partner in the company. He brings more than 10 years in machine learning, data analysis, and distributed systems, and also supports business development.

Director of Field Services & Software Systems
Damian leads ACS field services and builds the software behind its operations, including the ACS Portal and Helm, ERP tools, and fleet management systems. Before joining ACS in 2023, he worked on the buildout and operation of industrial Bitcoin mining sites.
Diana Guerrero
Project Manager
Diana manages projects at ACS, drawing on more than seven years in operations, marketing, and finance, including roles at IBM and Nestlé. She has led projects and process improvements using agile practices, and builds the reports and dashboards that make decisions faster.
Jonatan Acosta
Repair Lab Manager & Operations Manager
Jonatan runs the ACS repair lab and also manages day-to-day operations in Carrollton. He has spent more than a decade in operations, with a focus on using data to measure and improve how the floor performs.
